RIT’s artist teachers to exhibit their students’ work

This year’s graduating class of RIT School of Art’s Master of Science for Teachers (MST) in visual arts-all grades program is holding an end-of-year exhibit from May 18-26 in Bevier Gallery. A public opening reception is slated for 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 18.

For the capstone show, candidates for the MST degree have assembled artwork made by students they have taught — from elementary to high school — in the region this year.

Medical illustration student exhibition

Artwork by students in Rochester Institute of Technology’s medical illustration programs is set to be exhibited from 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 11, in the Werner Medical Library at Rochester General Hospital (1425 Portland Ave., Rochester). RIT offers a BFA in medical illustration from the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences while the MFA program is housed within the College of Health Sciences and Technology.
