Student Success Progress and Plan

The Student Success Committee  has been identifying and meeting with area specialists and professionals to discuss the Goals and Objectives of Dimension A. These professionals include Debbie Kingsbury, Ed Lincoln, Lisa Vasaturo, and Ron Goldberg. They have helped us to discover existing solutions and processes; they have also made suggestions and observations that we will be factoring into our plan, goals, and processes moving forward.

We are working to establish a process to continue to connect with professionals across campus. At first, we used an online survey for each of our goals, but found that one-on-one meetings provide the best feedback. Through these meetings we have found that their expertise, suggestions, and observations need to be factored into our plan, goals, and process moving forward. read more

    Heat Map of Student Population

We have worked on identifying where our student population comes from. We used data provided to us by the Bursars offices of all students registered for the 2013-2014 academic year in CAD to create a heat map. We have created two maps, undergraduate and graduate, and have grouped  students by state on the map. International students are grouped by country.

In the future we would like to plot previous years to look for trends that may help us identify potential high yield recruiting areas.
