The Rochester Institute of Technology’s student chapter of the National Press Photographers Association will present the 17th annual “What We Do” exhibition at Makers Gallery and Studio, 34 Elton St., Rochester.
The exhibit is a showcase of work by 15 RIT photojournalism students that was honored in this year’s What We Do competition. An open-to-the-public opening reception is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 13, at the gallery.
The multi-category contest is judged each year by a panel of RIT photojournalism alumni. This spring’s judges were Chloe Coleman (Washington Post photo editor), Seth Gitner (associate professor in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University) and Amy Rossetti (White House picture editor).
