Make your own hot glass object fundraiser

    12:00 pm-5:00 pm
    04/14/2018

Rochester Institute of Technology’s glass program is hosting a make-your-own hot glass object fundraiser to support an educational trip this spring.

The public (18 years of age and older) is invited to partake in sessions led by RIT glass students, who will teach participants how to make a paperweight in the hot shop or a marble pendant in the flame shop that they will take home.

The one-hour classes are offered from noon-5 p.m. April 14 and 15 in Booth Hall, rooms 3633 and 3730. They are $30 for students and $50 for anyone else.

All proceeds go toward RIT glass students traveling to the 47th annual Glass Art Society conference from May 16-19 in Murano, Italy. For more information and registration, email ritglassguild2017@gmail.com.
